For all skill levels ages 14 to adult. Are you fascinated with the world of oil painting but just don't know where
to begin? This class is a perfect introduction to an art that baffles and intimidates many of us. Learn the
properties, fundamentals, and potential of this popular medium with an experienced teacher. Focus on color
schemes,

Intro to Plein Air Painting 
Quinlan Art Center
Ages 16 and up. Plein Air painting need not be intimidating! Enjoy the beautiful spring through
artist's eyes. The first several classes will review oil painting fundamentals, the supplies used
in plein air painting (incorporating much of what you already have on hand) with sketches and
using photos to learn how to plan a plein air painting.
Subsequent classes will be on location, near the art center, lakeside
and even local vineyards. If the weather does not cooperate, we will
paint at the art center working from sketches and photographs. Some experience with oils recommended. Supply list available
online.

Elder Ridge Workshops Home StudioDahlonega, Georgia Workshops will be available throughout the year. Anita will invite quest instructors to provide instruction in many different mediums and styles to include Plein Air, Oil, watercolor, photography, and seasonal arts. The in  structors
are hand picked and selection is based on medium and resume. Each artist
will bring a wealth of experience to share with students. Information
